The Lincoln Festival Chorus is not the only performer in Lincoln Arts Festival, but it is the cornerstone of the organization in the sense that it was the first Festival activity to be established, and it is the only one to be presented annually from 1980 to 2019!  

During the summer of 2021 singers rehearsed for an August concert. The day before their final rehearsal the State of Maine mandated masks for all persons assembling in public places. Sadly the chorus relinquished their dream of a public performance in favor of safety and good health for all. Singers agreed that they were thankful that they were allowed to "enjoy the journey" of rehearsing together after the shutdown of 2020, and they joyfully returned with performances of Haydn's "Lord Nelson Mass" and Hits From the 1940's last summer!
